Our homely guesthouse is ideally located in the quiet coastal township of Ventnor and is one of the closest to stay at when visiting the little fairy penguins and during winter time, guests can do a bit of seal and whale spotting. "Seas the Day" gardens are not massive but they are one of the prettiest on Phillip Island, if not the best. Don't forget, our cosy guesthouse is a real sanctuary for singles or couples, and for planning that special occasion, we can help you to arrange it.
Escape from the outside world
During off peak seasons we usually have only one couple staying at a time, however during days of special events and peak holiday periods, there could be two couples or a group of four staying at any one time. This enables us to pamper all our guests and give them the treatment they truly deserve.

Romance is in the air!
Our architecturally designed house has a nautical feel to it and is surrounded by a lush eclectic art garden rich in flowering plants, oriental sculptures and water features. There is a balinese hut, a pagoda, patios, plus shady and sunny nooks to meditate and rest in. Friendly parrots & lots of wattlebirds visit our lovely gardens. * Please note, at "Seas the Day" all rooms are for none-smokers and our facilities are unsuitable for children

We love visiting overseas gardens, bush walking and climbing volcanoes, and we have stayed at a variety of bed & breakfast places around the world which we believe has helped us gain a realistic and an invaluable insight of what most guests want, need and expect.
Wake up to a new day and sieze it!
This romantic place has peaceful private rooms and secluded gardens and acts as a great oasis in which to unwind after a hard day of swimming, touring or sightseeing. Each morning, our happy guests wake up to the sound of birds and enjoy a fresh rustic breakfast cooked with pride.
Breakfast included in tariff
We prepare a generous breakfast of your choice in our kitchen. I happen to be a Celiac myself so I have no problems at all preparing G/F food. Food preferences and lighter breakfasts available on request.
Why not seize the day at our place on the island
Depending on season and weather conditions, guests have a choice of eating in the dining room, out in the open or in our outdoor garden room. We think a hearty breakfast is the best way to start the day, as there is so much to explore, do and see on stunning Phillip Island, including its unique, abundant wildlife, dramatic coasts and spectacular beaches.

Our coastal guesthouse has high fences & off street parking; and is very close to spectacular swimming beaches and all
the major tourist attractions.
Driving: less than 5 minutes to Penguins. 6 minutes Koalas, the bustling town of Cowes, the golf course & world famous moto GP track.
By foot: 3 minutes to stunning beaches & shuttle bus. 5 minutes to the well stocked Anchorage Grocery & Liquor store and 6 minutes to Australian woods & bushland, the home of many wallabies, echidnas, birds and possums.
Entertainment is on the house
Guests can soak in the romantic spa-pool and have access to free WIFI. There is an assortment of DVD movies to watch in the privacy of their rooms, and also a library shelf of magazines & books to read and swap. Board games available on request.
